Being a mama of 3, I wish I knew about pelvic floor therapy with my first 2 babies, yet at the same time I’m so thankful my midwife referred me after my 3rd birth. I didn’t realize how important it was until I started doing it.

Growing up a gymnast, dancer, and overall athlete I have always been in tune with my body. Losing what felt like all my core muscles, I threw out my back after giving birth to each of my babies. Getting those muscles back and also healing faster with my 3rd is all due to pelvic floor therapy!

Experiencing my 3rd vagina birth, this was my 1st one without interventions. Delivering my 9lb 4oz beautiful son I felt like a superwoman. Now this doesn’t mean it was pain free. I will say that prepping my pelvic floor before labor significantly helped. Not only did if help me physically, but also mentally. I’m so thankful I was actually told about this option this time around.

I am also so grateful I was told about postpartum pelvic floor therapy. It felt so good to have someone help me get my body back in a way that made sense. My PT Courtney was great at motivating me, educating me, & pushing me to a level my body could heal and get stronger. I’m so thankful for her knowledge and help!! I hope every mama gets this opportunity.
