Hand therapy is a specialized area of occupational therapy that focuses on the treatment of orthopedic conditions affecting the upper extremities. The primary goal of hand therapy is to restore and improve functional use of the hand, wrist, and elbow so individuals can safely perform daily activities at home and in the workplace.
