Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists are skilled healthcare professionals who help individuals develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and independence. Occupational therapy focuses on helping people gain the “skills for the job of living” allowing them to participate fully in their daily activities.

- Training and education in adaptive equipment: to compensate for the limited or loss of function

Certified Hand Therapy
Hand therapy is a specialized area of occupational therapy that focuses on the treatment of orthopedic conditions affecting the upper extremities. The primary goal of hand therapy is to restore and improve functional use of the hand, wrist, and elbow so individuals can safely perform daily activities at home and in the workplace. Hand specialists treat a variety of conditions involving the bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves of the upper extremity. Common conditions treated in hand therapy incude but are not limited to:
