Mark Johnson
Mark JohnsonPhysical Therapist, OCS
Mark is a 1989 graduate of Kansas University Medical Center’s Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science Department. Mark came to Hastings in 1990 and co-founded PTSR in 1992. Mark was recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) in 2008. Mark provides on-site care for local industries. He has had extensive training in balance, mobility, and vestibular rehabilitation. He is certified in the rehabilitative management of patients suffering from concussion. Mark is also certified in Functional Dry Needling. He enjoys treating foot problems and is an excellent option for management of any foot and ankle injuries.
Brent Weston
Brent WestonPhysical Therapist, OCS
Brent graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Division of Physical Therapy Education in 2000. Brent is originally from Springview, NE and joined PTSR in June 2001. The American Physical Therapy Association recognized Brent as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) in 2007. Brent has attended numerous continued education courses related to orthopedic physical therapy; balance and mobility; and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. He is certified in Functional Dry Needling. Brent’s hobbies include golf, hunting, and fishing. He enjoys spending time with his family including wife, Melissa, and two children, Tristan and Isabelle.
Ethan Stout
Ethan StoutPhysical Therapist, DPT
Ethan is originally from Alliance, NE. He played tennis while attending Midland Lutheran College and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2009. Ethan earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2012. Ethan moved to Hastings in 2013 and joined PTSR in 2015. He is certified in Functional Dry Needling and is an active member of both the American and Nebraska Physical Therapy Associations. He enjoys treating neck and back pain, as well as spine and rib dysfunctions. Ethan’s hobbies include playing tennis, golf, hunting, and fishing. Ethan enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsey, and two children, Charlie and Rory.
Abbi Stoddard
Abbi StoddardPhysical Therapist, DPT
Abbi attended Hastings College and earned her Bachelor of Biology degree in 2001. Abbi earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2005. Abbi has provided Pediatric Physical Therapy for Hastings Public Schools since 2006. Abbi and her husband, Jayson, reside in Hastings.
Seth Pinkerman
Seth PinkermanPhysical Therapist, DPT, AT-Ret, CSCS
Seth’s passion and commitment to restoring healthy movement through
individualized care to his patients stems from his experience in a wide-range of
therapy environments including athletics, outpatient and skilled nursing. Seth
studied athletic training at the University of Nebraska Lincoln before working as an athletic trainer for the Kansas State University football team. He then completed his physical therapy education at the University of Iowa followed by an Orthopedic Manual Therapy residency program. Seth believes that pain tends to resolve when the body moves the way it was designed to move. His treatment style targets barriers to healthy movement and empowers patients to prevent future issues through education in self-management strategies. Seth joined the PTSR family in 2020.
Jena Mizner
Jena MiznerPhysical Therapist, DPT, Aquatic Certified
Jena was born and raised in Holdrege, NE. She attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where she was a member of both the volleyball and track/field teams. Jena received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2017. She previously worked in an outpatient environment focused on orthopedic injuries as well as in an aquatic setting that treated a variety of patients with acute/chronic pain and neurologic conditions. She joined the PTSR family in 2021. Jena enjoys being outdoors, hiking, playing volleyball, and spending time with her husband, Bryan, and son, Brecken.
Kelsey Jaeschke
Kelsey JaeschkePhysical Therapist, DPT, ATC
Kelsey grew up in Kenesaw, NE. She went on to Nebraska Wesleyan University to play basketball and earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2020. At NWU, she was recognized for various awards on the state, regional, and national levels while serving as President of the Athletic Training Student Association. Kelsey recently completed her education as a graduate of College of Saint Mary’s Inaugural Cohort of Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2022 while providing off-season athletic training coverage for Nebraska Wesleyan athletics. She is an active member of the American and Nebraska Physical Therapy Associations in addition to the National, Mid-American, and Nebraska Athletic Training Associations. Kelsey’s hobbies include spending time with her family, being outdoors, and playing sports.
Isaac Schraad
Isaac SchraadPhysical Therapist, DPT
Isaac was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas, where he received his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas Edwards. He then attended the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas, where he graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2022. After working in the skilled nursing setting in Kansas City and Oregon, Isaac moved to Hastings in June 2023 along with his fiancé , who works as a Veterinarian at Companion’s Choice Animal Hospital. Isaac is passionate about sports; he is an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas Jayhawks, and San Antonio Spurs. Isaac enjoys working out, powerlifting, and everything about exercise. Isaac is heavily invested in evidence-based practice and staying up to date with the latest research. He believes that in many cases, educating a patient about their decision making in physical therapy and the science behind their pain can be just as beneficial as the treatment itself.
Bryan Douglas
Bryan DouglasPhysical Therapist Assistant, PTA
Bryan is a 1995 graduate of Colby Community College’s physical therapy assistant program. Bryan came to work at PTSR in 1992 after graduating from the University of Nebraska with a B.S. in Exercise Science. Bryan provides care for clients needing occupational medical services (PCP, or drug/alcohol screening) in addition to his duties at PTSR.
Austin Buresh
Austin BureshPhysical Therapist Assistant, PTA
Austin is a 2020 graduate of Southeast Community College, where he became a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant, and was the president of his class. He began working at PTSR in 2020. Austin assists in providing othopedic and aquatic therapy. Austin resides in Hastings with his wife and three kids. He is an avid Husker football fan and in his free time, enjoys hunting, shooting, fishing, working in his yard and spending time with his family.
Courtney Labenz
Courtney LabenzPhysical Therapist Assistant, PTA
Courtney is a 2018 graduate of Northeast Community College, becoming a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant while also playing collegiate volleyball. She joined PTSR in 2018 and assists in providing pediatric and orthopedic physical therapy. Courtney earned her Bachelor’s degree in PTA from Clarkson College in 2020. She is originally from Columbus, Nebraska, but now resides in Hastings. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, being active in the gym, and spending time with her family and friends.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Chad Kudlacek
Chad KudlacekOccupational Therapist, OTR/L, CHT, CEAS
Chad is a 2001 graduate of Creighton University’s Occupational Therapy School. Chad joined the staff at PTSR in December in 2001. Chad received his Certified Hand Therapist recognition in 2009. Chad’s primary focus is rehabilitating injuries to the hand, wrist or elbow. He also creates custom splints for upper extremity injuries. In addition to his work with upper extremity injuries, Chad provides on-site care at local industries, evaluates ergonomic situations, administers post offer pre-employment fitness tests and conducts drug/alcohol screening tests. In 2011, Chad was recognized as a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist.
